Pastor Edgar Casasola was born in Guatemala and at the age of 14 he traveled to the United States of America with the desire to improve his life. He encountered the Lord Jesus Christ at 17 years of age, in the New Jerusalem Church that our brother Rubén Medina was pastoring.
From that moment on, the Holy Spirit moved him to seek His presence and His word. It took him to live with pastors and worked under the ministry of the New Jerusalem until the year of 1978. God in his infinite mercy called Brother Edgar Casasola to pastor the New Jerusalem Church. Here he was anointed and placed by El Instituto La Puente, La Iglesia Príncipe de Paz and La Nueva Jerusalén Pastor’s Board.Brother Edgar Casasola worked with several Ministries under the vision and task of training men and women of God to carry the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ throughout the world.
In the year of 1996, a new mission opened for the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ in the City of Glendale Arizona. Church of Christ Sion is born. Mirroring God in expanding the Gospel, Pastor Edgar Casasola begins to train new leaders to restore the Church of Jesus Christ.
